Several trains diverted, cancelled due to agitation by Adivasi Kurmi Samaj

Bhubaneswar: Several north-bound trains from and to East Coast Railway jurisdiction have been diverted and cancelled in the wake of public agitation by Adivasi Kurmi Samaj at Khemasuli Station in Kharagpur-Tata Railway Section of Kharagpur Division and at Kustaur Station in Adra-Chandil Railway Section of Adra Division under South Eastern Railway Jurisdiction, said an official.

18478 Rishikesh-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express from Rishikesh on 4th April, 2023 will run on diverted route via Ib-Jharsuguda Road and Sambalpur.

12802 New Delhi-Puri Purusottam Express from New Delhi on 4th April, 2023 will run on diverted route via Gomoh-Bhojudih-Adra-Midnapur and Hijli.

12819 Bhubaneswar-Anand Vihar Odisha Sampark Kranti Express from Bhubaneswar on 5th April, 2023 will run on diverted route via Midnapur-Adra-Bhojudih-Gomoh.

18006 Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express from Jagadalpur on 5th April, 2023 will run via Tata-Chandil-Purulia-Bokaro Steel City-Adra-Midnapur.

18477 Puri-Rishikesha Kalinga Utkal Express from Puri on 5th April, 2023 will run via Sambalpur-Jharsuguda Road and Ib.

22824 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express from New Delhi on 5th April 2023 will run on diverted route via Gomoh-Bhojudih-Adra-Midnapur-Hijli.

18478 Rishikesh-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express from Rishikesh on 5th April, 2023 will run on diverted route via Ib-Jharsuguda Road and Sambalpur.

Cancellation of Trains:

12801/12802 Puri-New Delhi-Puri Purusottam Express from both the directions on 5th April, 2023 will remain cancelled.

18005 Howrah-Jagadalpur Samaleswari Express from Howrah on 5th & 6th April, 2023 will remain cancelled.

22861 Howrah-Kantabanji Ispat Express from Howrah on 06.04.2023 will remain cancelled.

22823 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express from Howrah on 06.04.2023 will remain cancelled.

12872 Titilagarh-Howrah Ispat Express from Titilagarh on 06.04.2023 will remain cancelled.

18006 Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express from Jagadalpur on 6th April, 2023 will remain cancelled.

18477 Puri-Rishikesh Kalinga Utkal Express from Puri on 6^th April 2023.

12801 Puri-New Delhi Purusottam Express from Puri on 6th April, 2023 will remain cancelled.

Partial Cancellation of Trains:

22606 Villupuram-Purulia Express from Villupuram on 5th April, 2023 will run up to Adra and will remain cancelled from Adra to Purulia.

22605 Purulia-Villupuram Express from Purulia on 7th April, 2023 will originate from Adra instead of Purulia. This will remain cancelled from Purulia to Adra.
