Several trains running through Odisha cancelled due to lockdown

Bhubaneswar: The train services in Odisha will be affected due to complete lockdown in West Bengal in upcoming days in the month of August, informed East Coast Railway today.

As per release by the ECoR, several trains running through Odisha will be cancelled, partially cancelled and stoppages of trains will be withdrawn in August.

Here’s the list of trains to be cancelled and partially cancelled in view of complete lockdown in West Bengal due to COVID-19 pandemic:

CANCELLATION OF TRAINS:

A. 02245 Howrah-Yesvantpur Duronto Special leaving from Howrah on 5th, 8th, 16th & 23rd August, 2020 will remain cancelled.

B. 02246 Yesvantpur-Howrah Duronto Special leaving from Yesvantpur on 7th, 10th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th & 30th August, 2020 will remain cancelled.

C. 02201 Sealdah-Bhubaneswar Duronto Special leaving from Sealdah will remain cancelled on 3rd August, 2020.

D. 02202 Bhubaneswar-Sealdah Duronto Special leaving from Bhubaneswar will remain cancelled on 4th, August, 2020.

E. 02074/02073 Bhubaneswar-Howrah-Bhbaneswar Jan Shatabdi Special on 5th, 8th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th and 31st August, 2020 will remain cancelled from both Bhubaneswar & Howrah directions.

PARTIAL CANCELLATION OF TRAINS:

A. 02704 Secunderabad-Howrah Falaknuma Special Express leaving from Secunderabad on 4th, 7th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd & 30th August, 2020 will be terminated at Bhubaneswar and will not go up to Howrah.

B. 02703 Howrah-Secunerabad Falaknuma Special Express will start from Bhubaneswar instead of Howrah on 5th, 8th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th and 31st August, 2020 and will be cancelled from Howrah to Bhubaneswar on the same day.

WITHDRAWAL OF STOPPAGES:

A. 02801 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Special Purusottam Express leaving from Bhubaneswar and 02802 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Special Purusottam Express leaving from New Delhi on 4th, 7th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd and 30th August, 2020 will not have stoppage at Purulia and Hijli from both the directions.

B. 02823 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Special Rajdhani Express leaving from Bhubaneswar on 5th, 8th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th & 31st August, 2020 and 02824 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Special Rajdhani Express leaving from New Delhi on 4th, 7th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd and 30th August, 2020 will not have stoppages at Hijli Station from both the directions.

C. 02201 Sealdah (Kolkata)-Bhubaneswar Duronto Special Express leaving Sealdah on 17th, 24th & 31st August and 02202 Bhubaneswar-Sealdah Duronto Special leaving from Bhubaneswar on 15th & 22nd August, 2020 will not have stoppages at Kharagpur Station from both the directions.

The passengers of above trains are advised to be prepared accordingly.
