Sex racket busted in Odisha capital: 6 held, six women rescued

Bhubaneswar: The Twin City Commissionerate Police today busted a sex racket operating from a hotel at AIIMS Nagar under Khandagiri police limits on the outskirts of Odisha capital and arrested six persons, including two middlemen, in this connection.

Acting on a tip-off about the illegal activity at the hotel, Khandagiri police raided the place and arrested four customers and two middlemen.

As many as six women of West Bengal, who were engaged in the flesh trade, have been rescued by police. On the other hand, the pimp managed to escape while efforts are on to apprehend him.

Cops have seized various objectionable items and cash from the spot and further investigation is underway.
