Five girls rescued as sex racket busted in Odisha’s Keonjhar; 6 detained

Keonjhar: A sex racket allegedly operating from a rented house in Keonjhar town of Odisha was busted by cops last night.

Keonjhar Town police officials detained six persons in this connection and rescued five women. The accused have been identified as Ashwin Kumar Nayak, Brajkishore Sahoo, Prabhat Das, Sibasankar Dey, Jayadipta Sahoo and Gopinath Choudhury.

According to sources, the cops conducted a raid after being tipped off, regarding alleged prostitution in a rented accomodation near a local hotel.

The police also seized condoms, performance-enhancing tablets, cash amounting to Rs. 7,500 and 10 mobile phone handsets from the spot.
