Sex racket busted in Odisha’s Sambalpur

Sambalpur, May 22:

Police today busted a sex racket during a surprise raid on a hotel near VSS Marg in Odisha’s district headquarters town Sambalpur.

During the raid, police found five young women and four young men in compromising positions inside different rooms of the hotel, reports said.

Preliminary investigations by the police have revealed that an organized sex racket operated from the hotel, reports added.

However, two other youths, whom the police suspect to be members of the racket fled the spot during the raid, reports further said.

Reportedly, the young women rescued during the raid hail from neighbouring state of West Bengal.

Further investigations by the police are on.
