Sex racket running in a spa busted in Odisha capital, two held

Bhubaneswar: Twin City Commissionerate of Police today busted a sex racket running at a house in the garb of a spa in Odisha capital.

According to police, Quick Action Team (QAT) and local police raided a spa at Surya Vihar under Patia area based on tip-off regarding prostitution racket being operated from the wellbeing centre.

After raid by the team of police personnel, two persons were arrested and as many girls were rescued from the spot.

While one of the arrested has been identified as the woman manager of the spa, the other is a customer.

The customer Jagannath Panda (30) and manager Sarojini Sunani (26) were arrested under sections 3, 4, 5, 7 of ITP Act.

“Infocity police detected sex racket running at Satyam Spa in Patia area following a raid at around 4.15 pm today. Two persons have been arrested and two girls rescued,” a police official said.
