Shallow to moderate fog very likely over 9 Odisha districts during next 2 days

Bhubaneswar: With no significant synoptic system lying over the region, shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over at least nine districts of Odisha during the next 48 hours, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar forecasted today.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD mentioned, “Minimum temperatures observed no large change over the districts of Odisha. They were above normal at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha, below normal at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”

Temperature Forecast: No large change forecasted in the Minimum (night) temperature at many places over the districts of Odisha during next five days.

The highest maximum temperature of 29.6°C was recorded at Paralakhemundi and the lowest minimum temperature of 9.0°C was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.
