Shallow to moderate fog very likely over districts of Interior Odisha during next 2 days

Bhubaneswar: With no significant synoptic system lying over the region, shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha during the next 48 hours, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar forecasted today.

In its evening bulletin, the IMD mentioned, “Minimum temperatures observed appreciable fall at a few places over the districts of north Coastal Odisha, at one or two places over the districts of north Interior Odisha, appreciable rise at one or two places over the districts of south Interior Odisha and no large change elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”

“They were appreciably below normal at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, appreciably above normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha, below normal at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha, at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, above normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha and normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha,” the regional centre bulletin read.

Temperature Forecast: No large change in the Minimum (night) temperature at many places over the districts of Odisha during next five days.

The highest maximum temperature of 31.6°C was recorded at Paralakhemundi and the lowest minimum temperature of 9.4°C was recorded at Keonjhar in the plains of Odisha.
