Shocker! Minor girl gang-raped by minor boys in Odisha’s Sambalpur

Kuchinda: In a shocking incident, a Class VIII girl student was allegedly gang-raped by two minor boys in a village under Mahulapali police limits in Sambalpur district today. Based on a complaint lodged by the minor girl’s father, police have taken the two minor boys into its custody for questioning after registering a case.

As per the complaint, a batch mate of the minor girl and another minor boy studying Plus II called her from her house in Mahulapali area. They then took the minor girl to an abandoned house and gang raped her.

In the meantime, the girl’s mother searched for her at neighbour’s places. After the mother failed to find the minor girl at all possible places, she went to the abandoned house along with her husband. The girl’s parents rescued the minor girl from the spot and lodged a police complaint thereafter.

A police official said the minor girl and two minor boys will be sent for medical examination.
