Shocking! Man kills 7-year-old daughter in Cuttack

Cuttack: In a shocking turn of events, a seven-year-old girl was allegedly beaten to death by her father over family dispute at Ragadipada village under Badamba block in Cuttack district.

However, police have detained accused Samir Nayak and are interrogating him in connection with the incident.

Sources said Sameer had a verbal duel with her daughter Kaveri over some family dispute today. In a fit of rage, Samir started beating her with a wooden plank killing her on the spot.

Some locals spotted the dead body and later informed the Badamba police. The cops reached the spot and detained the accused. Meanwhile, the dead body has been sent to hospital for medical examination.
