Shocking! Man kills wife, hangs self to death in Odisha  

Dhenkanal: In a bizarre incident, a man committed suicide after allegedly hacking his wife to death over family dispute at Khalapala village under Balimi police station in Dhenkanal district today.

The deceased have been identified as Sudhakar Badia (50) and his wife Samparda Badia alias Sili (45).

Sources said the couple had a verbal duel over some issue at around 11.30 AM today. In a fit of rage, Sudhakar attacked Sili with an axe killing her on the spot. After killing her, Sudhakar lost his mental balance and hanged himself to death near his wife’s dead body.

On receiving information, Balimi police reached the spot and have begun an investigation into the incident.
