Shocking! Newborn girl found buried alive in Odisha

Jajpur, Mar 25:

In a shocking incident, a newborn was found buried alive in Jajpur district of Odisha this morning.

According to reports, a newborn girl was spotted buried alive by some villagers of Shyamsundarpur under Dharmasala block in the district with her feet visible.

Villagers rescued the baby girl and handed over to ASHA worker of the village.

She is undergoing treatment at Dharmasala Community Health Centre in a critical condition.

Parents of the infant are yet to be identified.

It is suspected that the baby girl has been abandoned by her parents.
