Shocking! Odisha man kills stepmother to get insurance money

Kendrapara: Greed for money made a youth kill his stepmother in Odisha. The shocking incident has been reported from Chhakana village in Kendrapara district.

Though the murder took place earlier this month, the incident came to fore after police arrested the accused youth identified as Santosh Biswal.

As per reports, the body of Santosh’s stepmother Sasmita Biswal was recovered from the banks of Luna river under Marsaghai police limits in the district on August 18. Following the incident, police had begun an investigation into the incident.

During investigation, it was revealed that Santosh with the help of two others had strangulated his stepmother to death to get her insurance money. Today, the Sadar police arrested the three accused and are interrogating them .
