Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped the AIIMS Bhubaneswar after the wall of Casualty Trauma Care Unit of the medical institution caved in here today.

The hospital authorities shifted the patients to a different ward following the incident.

Khordha Collector Nirmal Chandra Mishra rushed to the AIIMS to assess the situation.

According to reports, the wall of Casualty Trauma Care Unit caved in due to incessant rain.

The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) of India will be asked to submit a report on the incident, informed AIIMS Bhubaneswar Director Dr. Gitanjali Batmanabane.

A research team of IIT will also be called for inspection of the structure, she added.
