In a tragic incident, two brothers were electrocuted in Odisha’s port city Paradeep today.

According to reports, elder brother Prabin Kumar Barik had gone near an electric box near Haribolia Mutt this morning without having an idea that it was charged. He was electrocuted on the spot after coming in contact with the damp box as it was raining.

In the meantime, his younger brother Pintan Kumar Barik who was nearby rushed to rescue his brother but unfortunately he also came in contact with the charged box.

Locals separated the duo from the charged box with a wooden plank and rushed them to a hospital where they were declared dead by the doctors.
