Cuttack: Silver City Cuttack is gearing up for the first of its kind mini marathon come Sunday (August 21). Cuttack Round Table 137 presents Run Cuttack Run will see over 220 runners from all over the state participate in over three categories – 3 km, 5 km and 10 km – depending on their fitness levels.

"The event will be flagged off at 6 am from Odisha Maritime near Naraj Barrage here. People from Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and neighbouring places will be participating in it. Runners would experience running on a traffic and pollution free road with lush green trees on one side and Mahanadi on other,” said race director Capt Avinash Chimanka, Ex Armed Forces & Ultra-Runner.

While similar smaller events are organised in the twin city sporadically, Cuttack Round Table 137 presents Run Cuttack Run takes things a notch up by doing things in a very professional and never-seen-before manner. A bib expo on the previous day of the race has been organised to allow participants to collect their race bibs on time and meet and greet the organisers and other fellow runners before the race day.
