Sine die lifted from BJB College in Odisha capital

Sine die was lifted from BJB Autonomous College here after more than two weeks it was imposed on the educational institution due to pre-poll violence in the campus, informed college principal Mohd Nawaj Hasan today.

The students will return to hostel from 5 PM today, Hasan said.

It may be recalled here that the college was closed sine die on September 28 and students’ union poll was cancelled citing repeated pre-poll violence in the campus.

The college campus was handed over to the district administration and students were asked to vacate the hostel.
