‘Singham 3’ will be based on Article 370 in Kashmir!

Bhubaneswar/ Mumbai: After the success of two installments of the ‘Singham’ franchise, Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn are working together to start shooting for ‘Singham 3’ and it will be based on Article 370 in Kashmir, a source working on the upcoming project said.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, the source who is currently working on ‘Singham 3’ project, revealed after contemplating on multiple ideas for making the film, Rohit and Ajay finally zeroed in on this subject as it’s hard-hitting and also relevant. The movie will be set in Kashmir against the backdrop of Article 370 being revoked by the Government of India.

The upcoming movie, as narrated by the source, will take references from true events and portray the effects that reverberated.

Shooting for ‘Singham 3’ will begin soon and will be filmed at three different locations- Kashmir, Delhi and Goa. The movie will be scheduled for a 2023 Independence Day theatrical release. Details on the entire star cast of the film is expected to be revealed soon.

As per the source,  ‘Singham 3’ is going to be the biggest film of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe and the director wants to ensure the character ‘Singham’ is taken to another level in terms of stature with the upcoming film. For this, he is designing realistic big scale action along with working on an impactful script.
