Sister Shweta announces Sushant Singh Rajput Memorial Fund on his birthday

Mumbai: As tweeple observe ‘Sushant Day’, the late Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti has announced a ‘Sushant Singh Rajput Memorial Fund’ in the University of California, Berkeley to cherish her brother’s love for Astrophysics on his 35th birthday today.

Sharing a snap of one of Sushant’s earlier posts about his dream to create an improved and relevant education system for kids of India, Shweta tweeted, “I am happy to announce that on 35th Birthday of Bhai, a step has been taken towards fulfilling one of his dreams. The Sushant Singh Rajput Memorial Fund of $35,000 has been set up in UC Berkeley. ”

The sister of the late and much loved Bollywood actor also attached a description of The Sushant Singh Rajput Memorial Fund in Physics which narrated that the fund was to support graduate students in the Department of Physics at the University of California, with a preference for students studying Astrophysics.

Shweta also shared a picture of Sushant from his childhood where he is seen with his mother and captioned it, “This smile can melt every heart Happy #SushantDay”

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020. The cause of his death sparked a lot of controversy across the nation and worldwide as people demanded a clear answer to the question-if the actor’s demise was a suicide or well-planned murder.

Following the Mumbai police’s investigation, the CBI and NCB stepped in to investigate the case. Over six months have passed and the family and loved ones of the departed star are awaiting logical end to the case.
