Six cops test positive for COVID-19 in Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: Another six police personnel including a senior police officer in Athagarh area of Cuttack district today tested positive for deadly COVID-19.

Athagarh Sub Divisional Medical Officer Bijay Kumar Mishra informed out of 50 samples sent for tests, six police personnel were found contracted with the virus.

Yesterday, a senior police official in Cuttack district tested positive for the virus.

So far, a total of 577 COVID-19 cases were detected in Cuttack. Out of them, 131 persons in Athagarh Sub-Division contracted with the virus.

A total of 16 persons from Athagarh block, 31 from Tigiria, 72 from Narasinghpur and 12 from Badamba have tested positive for the virus.
