Six-feet long cobra rescued from Odisha

A six-feet long cobra has been rescued from Pannagar village, Bolagarh block in Khurda district of Odisha.

Ravi Behuri, yesterday found the six-feet-long yellow coloured venomous snake on his backyard and captured it.

A huge crowd gathered in the market to witness the snake. The cobra is protected in India under the Indian Wildlife Protection Act (1972).

The reptile was later released into the nearby forest.
