Six newborns die at Keonjhar Hospital in Odisha in 12 hours!

Keonjhar: As many as six newborns died at the Keonjhar District Headquarters Hospital in 12 hours due to alleged medical negligence.

Tension ran high on the hospital premises today as family members of the deceased created ruckus holding the hospital authorities responsible for the deaths.

They alleged that doctors didn’t visit the Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) of the hospital last night, which led to the deaths of the babies.

On being informed, police reached the spot to take the situation under control.

The hospital authorities were yet to comment on the allegations.
