Smoke from Rajdhani Express triggers panic in Odisha

Balasore: The passengers of New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Express were panicked after smoke came out of the train here today.

The smoke was reported from power car of the 22812 Rajdhani Express train near Khantapada Railway Station.

However, no casualty was reported as the passenger coach was not affected in the fire that resulted in smoke.

The fire services personnel rushed to the spot to control the fire.

According to reports, the smoke was found coming out of the power car that supplied power to the coaches.

Following the incident, the train was halted at Khantapada Railway Station.

A team from Kharagpur division of South Eastern Railway visited  the station and the service resumed leaving the power car after thorough check up.
