Snag-hit AI flight from Odisha capital cancelled

A Mumbai-bound Air India flight from the Odisha capital was cancelled this afternoon due to technical snag, airport sources said.

Flight AI-670 carrying 111 passengers was scheduled to take off from the Biju Patnaik Internation Airport (BPIA) at 1.05 pm. But the aircraft failed to roll on the runway due to some technical glitch. Passengers on board the flight were clueless about the delay till they were told that the flight won’t fly today owing to technical failure in the flight.

After about four hours of being stranded at the T1, the flight was cancelled fuelling anger among the flyers.
