Snakebite kills two sisters in Odisha’s Sonepur

Sonepur: In a tragic incident, two minor sisters died of snakebite at Panchamahala village under Ulunda block of Odisha’s Sonepur district last night.

The deceased have been identified as Nikita Jagdal (12) and Archita Jagdal (13).

According to reports, a snake bit the sister duo when they were sleeping inside their house. They were rushed to the Sonepur District Headquarters Hospital, where doctor declared them dead.

A pall of gloom descended on the village after the death of the sisters.
