In a tragic incident two women were killed in Kukurkuan village under Raighar block in Odisha’s Nabarangpur district after they came in contact with a snapped live electric wire today, reports said.

The women, residents of nearby Hiri village were on a visit to a relative’s house when they accidentally came in contact with a live electric wire lying on the road which had snapped Sunday night due to high velocity winds caused by a storm in the area, the reports added.
