SOG, Maoists exchange fire in Odisha’s Kalahandi; several rebels injured
Bhawanipatna: An exchange of fire took place between SOG jawans and Maoists in Odisha’s Kalahandi district today, said SP Battula Gangadhar.
The gun battle ensued at the Gundi Reserve Forest under Sadar police limits in the district, in which several red rebels have sustained injuries, the police official said.

Gelatin sticks, detonators and bombs have been seized from the spot. Combing operation has been intensified in the area after the incident.
