Solar light installation begins in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: Installation of 1000 solar lights in Odisha capital began yesterday on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, informed Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi.

The first phase of solar lights were lit in Ekamra Assembly constituency of the city, last evening. “It was a delight to see people very happy with the installation. I request all to monitor the quality of the work,” Sarangi said.

With an investment of Rs 2.27 crore, the solar lights will be installed with the help of the Union Ministry of Power.
