Son of Padma Shri awardee attacked in Odisha capital

Padma Shri awardee Sudarshan Sahoo’s son Surya Narayan was allegedly attacked by some youths over a road accident at Jaydev Vihar Square in Odisha capital last night.

Nayapalli police today arrested five persons in connection with the incident. The five persons, including four engineering and a Law student, were forwarded to court.

According to reports, a minor road accident took place when Surya Narayan was travelling in his vehicle following which he was attacked by a group of youths.

A scuffle also ensued between the youths and policemen who reached the spot to rescue Surya Narayan.
