Bhubaneswar: Bollywood singer Sona Mohapatra, who has been caught up in several controversies in the recent past, has once again landed in a soup after she slammed superstar Salman Khan for the latter’s comment on actress Priyanka Chopra following her exit from movie ‘Bharat’.
After the 'Dabangg' actor took a dig at the Bollywood diva for walking out of 'Bharat' at the last minute and choosing to get married instead, singer Mohapatra took to Twitter and dubbed Salman Khan as ‘a showcase and poster child of toxic masculinity.
“Low brow dig at not only a woman who was not in the room but a disgusting disregard and contempt for the woman and colleague sitting next to him in the same room. Unless we call out such serial bad behaviour, nothing changes," Sona tweeted.
Mohapatra also criticized the Twitterati for the latter’s memes on Priyanka’s age gap with husband Nick Jonas.
“They meme her 10 year age gap with her husband but conveniently forget that their idol is close to 20 years older than her. Grow up, you fools, I say to them," she tweeted.
Worth mentioning Salman Khan at a promotional event for 'Bharat' said, "While many would give anything for the film or maybe even leaving their husband, Priyanka left the film."
Reacting to his comment, Mohapatra commented "Priyanka has better things to do in life, real men to hang out with and more importantly, girls to inspire with her journey."
Cus @priyankachopra has better things to do in life, real men to hang out with & more importantly, girls to inspire with her journey. ???

However, Mohapatra’s comment did not go well with the fans of the ‘Bhaijaan’ of Bollywood with the Twitterati back-lashing the singer for the same.
