Soro MLA Parshuram Dhada quits BJD after being denied ticket for 2024 polls in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Soro MLA Parshuram Dhada has resigned from the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) soon after he was denied the party ticket to fight the 2024 Assembly polls in Odisha.

Dhada resigned from the primary membership of BJD by tendering his resignation letter to Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik today.

In his resignation letter, Dhada alleged that some intermediary executives of the BJD have misreported the facts. Besides, he allegedly did not get the due support from the intermediary executives of BJD.

Notably, the BJD has picked Madhab Dhada as its candidate to contest the 2024 Assembly elections from Soro seat.
