Bhubaneswar: Due to prevalent monsoon trough and cyclonic circulation, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places in twelve Odisha districts during the next 24 hours, India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed today.
In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD regional centre said, “The cyclonic circulation over north Bangladesh now lies over northeast Bihar and neighbourhood and extends up to 7.6 Km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height. The monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Amritsar, Chandigarh, Najibabad, Gorakhpur, Supaul, Balurghat and thence eastwards towards Manipur.”
The highest maximum temperature of 35.0oC was recorded at Paralekhamundi and the lowest minimum temperature of 23.0oC was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.

For Thursday (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 10.08.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 11.08.2023)
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Deogarh, Keonjhar Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.
