Following the announcement by authorities at Odisha’s premier educational institution, the professors of concerned departments have been assigned to take classes of the exempted students for examination.

A notification will be released regarding special examination for the students.

The move came following a proposal was made to the Vice Chancellor through Examination Controller requesting him for the special examination for the exempted students.

With approval of the proposal by the VC, the PhD students exempted to have appeared in the exam in different subjects for various reasons will get another chance for the test this year.

According to reports, several students have failed to appear in the course work examination to attend the regular classes after enrollment into the PhD programmes in Utkal University in 2019.

Notably, the students need to submit an NOC before the varsity authorities for appearing in the course work exam. In case they fail to deposit the required document, they are declared ineligible for the test and have to wait for another year for continuing the PhD programmes.
