Special MoBus shuttle service to Barabati for India vs South Africa T20 match

Bhubaneswar: The Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) will provide special MoBus shuttle service for passengers to Barabati Stadium in Cuttack for India – South Africa T20 match scheduled on June 12.

The hassle-free mobility service will exclusively be available for the match to serve the commuters.

“The match between India and South Africa at Cuttack’s Barabati Stadium is generating a lot of excitement among the cricket enthusiasts. Commuters will benefit greatly from Mo Bus’s Special Shuttle Service on the day of the match,” the CRUT stated in a release today.

As per the release, the special MoBus shuttles will be plying on two routes — from Master Canteen via Rasulgarh to Barabati Stadium and from Baramunda Bus Stand via Patia to Barabati Stadium — with bus fare of Rs 40.

As cricket enthusiasts from different States and various districts of Odisha will be travelling to Cuttack via Bhubaneswar, passengers can optimally utilise this MoBus Special Shuttle Service for the T-20 Match which will be held from 7 PM to 11 PM on June 12 at Barabati Stadium.

The MoBus Special Shuttle Service will depart from Master Canteen and Baramunda Bus Stand from 12 noon onwards at a fixed schedule to drop the commuters to Barabati Stadium and again from 11.30 PM onwards will depart from Barabati Stadium towards Master Canteen and Baramunda Bus Stand. The detailed schedule for this Special Shuttle Service will be available on the official social media handles of CRUT.

“Mo Bus service for four additional routes primarily serving Cuttack has commenced from 8th June, 2022 and the response has been very positive so far. The T20 Match is being held at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack and its peri-urban areas for the first time after the Covid-19 pandemic. There are many cricket fans who are excited to watch the match live between India and South Africa at the stadium, Cricket matches are usually crowded, with people travelling far off places to attend. Keeping this in mind, we have planned this Mo Bus Special Shuttle to serve the mobility needs of the cricket fans”, said Dipti Mahapatra, General Manager (P & A), CRUT.
