Special OJEE to be held for admission in B.Tech.; check details

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) cell has decided to conduct a special entrance examination – Special OJEE – as part of the OJEE-2021. The decision has been taken in view of the ongoing Covid pandemic and rescheduling of the academic session for 2021 – 22.

The Special OJEE will be held for admission into first year B.Tech. courses at all Government and private engineering colleges of Odisha against the vacant seats left out after the first phase OJEE counseling.

Candidates, who have not appeared and/or will not appear in the JEE (Main) – 2021 exam, due to some reason or other will be eligible to apply for the Special OJEE.

Important Dates:

The process of online application for this B. Tech. course will start from July 23, 2021 and the last date will be August 10, 2021. Fees can be paid till August 12, 2021 (11.59 PM).

The detailed instructions and terms and conditions for the online application will be like other forms as per the information brochure available in the website, www.ojee.nic.in . The syllabus for the examination will be as per the JEE (Main) – 2021.

The detailed schedule regarding dates of the exam and of downloading of admit cards will be notified in due course of time, on assessment of the COVID pandemic situation, official sources at OJEE said.
