Puri: A special puja was performed at Srimandir in Odisha’s pilgrim town Puri ahead of bhoomi pujan for construction of grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya today.

The prayer was offered to Lord Jagannath in the morning for completion of the much-awaited Ram Temple work without hindrance, informed Srimandir Chhatisha Nijog Nayak Pattajoshi Janardhan Mahapatra in a release today.

The priests of the Jagannath Temple prayed for welfare of millions of devotees for which the dream for building Ram Temple in Ayodhya is coming true after decades of legal battle.

Lord Jagannath has sent His blessing through Agyanmala for construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The special puja conducted at the shrine will also protect all from the deadly Coronavirus, the release stated.

The stage has been set for ground breaking ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The holy town has been decked up in lights and colours for the special occasion, which will be attended by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi shortly today. Entire Ayodhya is reverberated with bhajans dedicated to Lord Ram and hymns chanted by the saints.
