Spike of 300 COVID-19 cases in Odisha in last 24 hours

Bhubaneswar: Another 300 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total caseload to 3,24,389.

Of the total fresh cases detected from 26 districts, 174 have been reported from different quarantine centres and remaining 126 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.

Angul recorded highest 44 cases followed by Khordha (36) and Sundargarh (34).

Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 3,063 and recovered cases at 3,19,458.
