Dhenkanal: The Excise Department busted a spurious liquor manufacturing unit in Bhuban area of Odisha's Dhenkanal district late last night and arrested four persons in this connection.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint team comprising the Excise Department officials, Mobile Squad and local police raided the place.

Cops seized 650 litres of spirit, 4 litres of caramel, 2,000 bottle caps, packaging machine, bottles and a car from the possession of the accused. The arrested have been identified as residents of Buban area.
