Star-studded royal wedding in pictures: Odisha’s prince Arkesh ties the knot

Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: Lakhs of girls were left heart-broken and devastated as one of India’s most eligible bachelors and Odisha’s royal scion Arkesh Narayan Singh Deo lost his bachelorhood to princess Adrija Manjari Singh of Manda (Uttar Pradesh).

It was a glittering ceremony in the winter of November 2017. Odisha’s prince from Patnagarh in Bolangir, Arkesh Singh Deo wedded the Manda Rajkumari amidst royalty and guests from across the country and the world on November 23.

The four-day wedding ceremony included a haldi ceremony and an evening get-together on November 21 at Shanti Farm in New Delhi. Tilak ceremony was held the following day. The wedding commenced at the residence of the bride’s grandfather, former prime minister V P Singh on November 23

The guest list included  Jaipur’s Rajmata Padmini Devi, former Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister of Corporate Affairs Arun Jaitley and television anchor Archana Vijaya among others.

The Singh Deo family will throw parties in Bhubaneswar on December 1 and later in Patnagarh for select guests. It is reported that a feast for over forty thousand invitees is being planned in Patnagarh.
