State BJP leaders summoned to Delhi

The state BJP leaders received an urgent summon from the Central party leadership late last night to attend an emergency meeting in New Delhi today.

Sources in the party circles said that the state BJP president and the organization secretary were scheduled to attend the party’s national election committee meeting on February 8. However, they have been asked to arrive at the national capital a day before the meeting.

According to party sources, the meeting has been convened to discuss about the formation of alliance and selection of candidates for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in April.
