Student electrocuted, two others critical on Ganesh Puja in Cuttack

Cuttack: Tragedy struck a private university at Naraj in Odisha’s Cuttack district on auspicious Ganesh Puja as one student was electrocuted, and two others were critical in an incident today.

According to reports, three students belonging to a private university came in contact with an 11kv electric wire while taking an idol of Lord Ganesh to their educational institution for Ganesh Puja today. While one died of electrocution, two others sustained serious injuries.

The injured two have been rushed to a private hospital in Cuttack for treatment.
