Student Union polls on Oct 8

College student unions across the state will go to polls on 8 October. The Higher Education department has issued a notification to this effect today. According to the notification, the candidates will file nomination papers on 30 September. While the date for withdrawal is 1 October, the final list of candidates would be announced on October 5.
