Sub-Collector tests positive for COVID-19 in Odisha

Bhadrak: The spread of COVID-19 continues unabated in Bhadrak district as the Sub-Collector Pitambar Samal has tested positive for the deadly virus.

With detection of positive case, Additional Sub-Collector Manoroma Bhuyan will remain in charge of Sub-Collector in Bhadrak district till September 15, informed Bhadrak Collector today.

The district registered 76 new positive cases in the last 24 hours. So far, the COVID-19 tally increased to 2,546 with 763 active cases in Bhadrak. While 1,775 patients have recovered from the disease, the virus has claimed 8 lives in the district.
