Subas Chouhan appointed Chairperson of WODC

Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik today appointed Subas Chouhan as chairperson of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC).

WODC is an administrative set-up established by the State government in 1998 to carry out development in the western Odisha districts.

Worth mentioning, earlier this month, the ruling party named Chouhan as one of its national spokespersons.

Chouhan was the BJD General Secretary and co-observer of the party for Kalahandi, Bolangir, Bargarh and Sambalpur districts during the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
