Sudarsan Pattnaik marks Republic Day with vibrant sand sculpture

Puri: Internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has carved a sand sculpture on Puri beach to mark 70th Republic Day of India.

Bearing the words 'I love my India' and 'Happy Republic Day', the striking sand carving features the Indian tricolour on heart-shaped structures.

Last month, Pattnaik had attempted a world record by creating a 30-feet high and 100-feet wide Santa Claus with usage of 10,000 plastic bottles, conveying the message of beating plastic pollution.
