Sudarsan's tribute to Lata on her 84th B’day

Born on September 28, 1929, India's nightingale Lata Mangeshkar celebrates her 84th birthday today. Sudarsan Pattnaik created a sand sculpture of Lataji with a wish- “Aap Jiyo Hazaro Sal” at the Puri beach .

I am a huge fan of Lataji and I wish her a very happy birthday, Sudarsan said after completing a 4-feet tall portrait of the living legend in sand. It took  2 tons of sand and 2 hours to complete the work that drew hundreds of tourists and Lata fans to the beach .
