Palak Paneer,Palak Matar, Palak Chicken- but spinach mousse? Sushree Satapathy the creator of this mouth watering sugar free dessert has bagged the Best Dessert Chef, at the Grand Finale of the Sugar Free Dessert Challenge, which concluded at The Yellow Chilli restaurant at Powai in Mumbai recently.

The month long contest had twelve strong contestants who fought tooth and nail for the coveted award. Out of the 1500 entries, spinach mousse was the champion defeating the coconut halwa, sitafal malai, atta sheera, kiwi firine, mithai fusion, pathisapta, arbi & beetroot mousse, cheezy singoda cake, China grass pudding with nuts, beetroot modakand, green papaya laddoos etc. This amazing  health dish just took fifteen minutes to make and was the undoubted winner.The contestants were judged by ace master chef Sanjeev Kapoor and will be given a golden chance to showcase their innovative dishes in his channel Food Food .

Sushree lovingly known as Tina belongs to Cuttack and is married to Saroj Satapathy. They live in Mumbai with their two sons Saket and Simant who are ardent fans of their mother's cooking. She is also a well known artist and her paintings are much appreciated by her clientele who wait for her to finish a work so that they can purchase it. She always had a craze for meeting Indian chef and entrepreneur Sanjeev Kapoor who is famous for his Khana Khazana show, in person and cook with him. So when the opportunity came in the form of this competition she grabbed at it .

Cooking innovative dishes is her passion and she excels herself with every dish she makes. Playing with diverse ingredients such as Kiwis, potatoes, cranberries and turning  it into a mouth-watering gourmet  has floored food lovers.  For her cooking is like painting a beautiful picture - a swish , a dab, a twist and anything that the gray cells dictates she applies it on her dishes. The results are jaw dropping! Sushree has proved time and again that a housewife can be a powerhouse of innovative creations and women can be empowered if they use their talents in the proper field.
