“Statutory bodies attach several conditions while issuing NOCs impose several conditions. At the time of registration of an institution, responsibility is vested with concerned institutions to keep everything up to date. It’s not possible to personally examine everything. We had sought the report. The renewal was made on the basis of the CDMO’s NOC after due inspection. I have committed no wrong. When certain lapses were observed we have issued the concerned institution with show cause notice. After we receive a reply from them on our show cause notice, we will take a call,” informed Sahu.

A major fire had broken out in the dialysis ward of SUM Hospital on Monday evening and 25 people have died due to the mishap till date.
