Sundarlal Seal appointed Odisha Co-operative Election Commissioner

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government today appointed senior IAS officer Sundarlal Seal as the Commissioner of State Co-operative Election Commission for the period of five years.

A notification in this regard has been released by the Co-Operation Department today.

The apex post in the State Co-operative Election Commission was lying vacant after retirement of Krushna Gopal Mohapatra. With appointment of Seal as the new Commissioner, he may initiate process for conducting elections to cooperative societies soon.

Currently, Seal is serving as the Director of Higher Secondary Education.
