Suneil Shetty voices support for Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan following drugs raid; here’s what he said

Mumbai/Bhubaneswar: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan landed in controversy on Sunday following a raid on a cruise ship by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

Besides Aryan, the NCB is also questioning  Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra and Arbaaz Merchant.

In the first of its kind operation on a cruise ship, the NCB swooped onto the rave party being held on the cruise ship off the Mumbai coast and detained around eight persons including Aryan Khan.

Actor Suneil Shetty, speaking at an event, voiced his support for SRK’s son.

“I would like to say that wherever there is a raid, several people are caught. And we assume that this child must have consumed drugs or this child must have done it. But the proceedings are on, let’s give that child a breather,” Shetty said.

“Whenever something happens in Bollywood, the media scrutinises everything and jumps to conclusions. Give the child an opportunity. Let the real reports come out. Baccha hai (He’s a kid). Taking care of him is our responsibility,” he added.

The NCB has filed an FIR in connection with the alleged rave party on the cruise ship.

Neither SRK nor Gauri Khan has commented on the case yet.
